Mathew joined MGR in 2012, relocating from Melbourne after almost 14 years working in IT in the construction industry.
Mathew is known for wearing a lot of hats, ranging from IT support, network administrator, IT manager, project manager, change manager and business technology improvement manager.
During this time, Mathew has delivered numerous small and large-scale projects resulting in significant cost savings and revenue-increasing initiatives.
Mathew’s primary responsibility is to ensure that our clients receive the maximum uptime and efficiency from their IT systems. Presently his tasks are split evenly between proactive managed service consulting activities and IT sales and support.
Mathew is passionate about people, process and technology, in that order! His advice to any business is to put your people first and ensure you have proven processes in place before you look to technology for efficiencies.
Outside of work, his four children keep him extremely busy! He is actively involved in their sporting events which consist of Basketball, Football and Netball. He also finds time to go to the gym and play indoor cricket for the MGR Allstars. Whenever possible, he likes to get the family away camping and do a spot of fishing.
